Welcome
Precision Diagnostics. Partner-Driven Control.
Why Do Labs Matter?
Strong clinical laboratories provide the foundation for accurate and timely disease diagnosis, prevention, and control to improve the health and safety of Americans. Across the nation, laboratory professions save lives every day by diagnosing patients.

70% of today’s medical decisions depend on laboratory test results, showing the important role of clinical laboratories in today’s healthcare system.
14 billion laboratory tests are ordered annually—safety, quality, and cost effectiveness in laboratory testing are required for effective diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Experts estimate that 40,000 – 80,000 deaths occur annually from preventable diagnostic errors.

2024: CMS Specimen Collection Fees from $8.57 to $8.83 for Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) with $2 increase ($10.83) in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) & Home Health Agency (HHA) patient.
It also clarifies that to be eligible for a specimen collection fee, the specimen must be collected by a trained technician from a Medicare patient who’s homebound, or in a non-hospital inpatient, only when there aren’t any qualified personnel available at the facility to collect the specimen.
